Highlight of the Week: Collaboration is the goal more than ever this year and it was exciting to sit together with colleagues from other organizations to all testify in support of an interstate commerce trigger bill.

This week marked the start of the 2023 legislative session and the capitol is back in person and it was a busy start for cannabis!  The legislative team has been busy working on crossing t’s and dotting i’s with legislators on our bills and we expect to see Removing the Excise Tax for Patients, Homegrow, Arrest Protection, and Cannabis Research Commission filed by the end of the week next week.  We will let you know as soon as we have bill numbers for each piece of legislation.
