The Cannabis Alliance is deeply grateful for the donated funds from Chronic Relief in 2021. Your generosity allowed us to further our dedication to a vital, ethical, and sustainable cannabis industry and our board voted to specifically use the majority of these funds to support the work of our Equity and Justice Committee. We were able to pay honorariums to speakers like Shaleen Title, Dr.s Knox, and Tarra Simmons. Your kind donation helped us be a sponsor for the King County Equity Now Juneteenth celebration further tying our work to the community. We have also utilized funds to continue development of efforts to assist Washingtonians access their right to expunge their records of cannabis misdemeanors. Additionally, a portion of the donation helped us maintain our full working staff through the interim on legislative issues like arrest protections for patients and removing the excise tax for patients. We express our deepest gratitude for your efforts in supporting this work!
