Andy Hunthausen, AAI // Account Executive

Andy is an Account Executive in our Commercial Department and a member of Parker, Smith & Feek’s Real Estate Practice Group. He works with clients in various industries, including property owners and developers, and food and manufacturing organizations. As an account executive, he leads the effort combining the resources available within our firm to tailor insurance and risk management programs to meet client needs.

Andy manages client insurance programs using a proactive approach to risk control, negotiations with underwriters, claims management, and mitigation of risks present in the commercial real estate space.

Andy joined Parker, Smith & Feek in August 2020, leaving a regional brokerage based in Tacoma, Washington. His nearly five years in the industry has provided a deep understanding of what businesses face and the importance of a tailored insurance and risk management program. His experience has provided extensive knowledge of underwriting processes and how to navigate the marketplace for his clients. He strives to be a resource and to stay ahead of ever-changing trends.

Andy holds his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation and is currently working on his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He serves on the Job Carr Museum board in Tacoma and volunteers for the downtown Food Connection through St. Leo’s Parish. He is also a member of the Tacoma Audubon Society, supporting the mission of protecting the Pacific Northwest’s diverse nature. In his spare time, Andy coaches high school baseball.

Ryan Moses // Elite Account Executive

 As an Elite Account Executive in our Employee Benefits Department, Ryan provides benefit plan designs and consulting services for small- to mid-sized employers in a wide range of industries.

Ryan works with our account service teams to develop responsive insurance programs that address the special needs of a diverse group of clients, with a focus on non-profit, manufacturing, and cannabis organizations. Ryan has expertise in a variety of health benefit areas, including employee benefit strategies, health promotion and wellness, employee education, and communication. Ryan is adept in developing comprehensive employee benefits plans that are advantageous to both the organization and its employees. 

Background | Ryan started his career with Premera Blue Cross in 1998 as a member of the claims team and then as a care coordination specialist, working with hospitals to report and reduce bed stays. Ryan began working at PacifiCare/United Healthcare in 2005 as a quoting specialist and quickly was promoted to a sales operations specialist in charge of implementing new business for both small and large group markets. In 2009, Ryan became the account manager for UHC’s association business, where he managed the Pacific Employer’s Alliance Trust. Ryan joined Parker, Smith & Feek in November 2013 with a focus on small and mid-sized employer groups. He received his B.A. in communications from Washington State University.

Ray Cho // Account Executive

Ray is an Account Executive in our Employee Benefits Department, helping small and mid-sized employers develop long-term strategic direction for their employee benefit plans. Ray understands how to navigate healthcare reform’s long-term impacts, which is becoming increasingly important to small and mid-sized employers.   

Ray started his career in employee benefits consulting in 2011 with Kaiser Permanente, supporting the small business group broker community. Ray transitioned over to the broker side to help his clients navigate the Affordable Care Act’s complexity. He specializes in developing cost reduction strategies using alternative funding/self-funded solutions integrated with wellness directives to optimize the potential for a company’s employee benefit plan to contribute to the bottom line. He works with small and mid-sized employers of all industries, but focuses on construction, fabrication, and manufacturing. He joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 2020.

Ray is a Seattle, Washington native and graduated from the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. He is an avid fisherman and explorer.
